About Us
Dragon Boat Association of Bihar
We are a dedicated organization which promotes Dragon sport at international level. We are the only organization in India for this unique sport and affiliated to International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF) and the Asian Dragon Boat Federation (ADBF). We are one of the members out of 74 countries members in (IDBF) licensed to participate internationally and have been promoting it since five years. This is quite a popular game in Kerala where it is celebrated as Onam festival and in West Bengal, Assam and Jammu & Kashmir. It was a regal sport in J & K where royal families used to organize such sports and still a famous sport there. Slowly and steadily different states in India is also growing interest in it, states like Bihar, UP, MP, Haryana etc.
Our Vision
Promoting the Age Old Water Sport of Dragon Boat Racing in the country for the last couple of Years.The Dragon Boat Racing is a very popular and exciting event, especially in the sub-urban and rural areas.
